ABOUT
About me:

I'm Laura and I first discovered yoga over 15 years ago when training to dance. I practiced yoga on and off for years, however, it was after having both my children that yoga began to change my life.
I have always lived in a flexible body but have gained and developed strength through my practice.
Alongside the physical elements of yoga came the effects on the mind too. A sense of clarity and peace.
After this experience I felt compelled to begin my teacher training and share this with others.

Adult yoga:

I offer a balance between strength and flexibility in my classes. Maintaining the two elements is key in maximising the physical benefits of yoga. This is inclusive for all levels of fitness. We also practice breathwork and relaxation techniques in order to regulate parasympathetic nervous system which helps to calm the mind and body. You can attend the classes for physical benefits, relaxation or a combination of both. There is something for everyone.
Children's yoga:

I am a qualified teacher and have therefore seen the pressure on children in our modern society. I really believe in offering children a framework they can use for the rest of their lives, to turn to whenever they need it. Yoga and mindfulness can be the strong foundation for this framework.

Continual Professional Development:

I hope to continue my training in many different aspects of Yoga in order to offer many new challenges in my classes.
